SOSHINKAN KARATE FUDOKAI DOJO
総真館空手 • 風動会道場
Fudokai is not merely a place of training.
It is a living path of Budo — where movement becomes meaning, discipline becomes character, and combat becomes self-knowledge.
The name FUDOKAI (風動会) means “The School of the Moving Wind.”
The wind does not argue.
It does not stop.
It does not break.
It adapts, advances, and overcomes.
Founded in 1994 in Odesa, Ukraine, Fudokai Dojo has existed for over three decades as a place of authentic martial transmission. In 2026 in Los Angeles USA, the Dojo was officially renamed from Rekunoff Dojo to Fudokai Dojo, reflecting a deeper philosophical evolution — from a name to a way of life.
The Dojo is led by Hanshi Andy Rekunoff, whose journey in Martial Arts spans more than 42 years of study and practice, including 37 years of Full-Contact Karate at the highest international level.
This path was not built in theory, but in sweat, pain, responsibility, and decades of real combat experience, teaching, and leadership.
Rooted in Soshinkan Karate (総真館空手), Fudokai Dojo follows the traditional principles of Budo:
Discipline before strength
Respect before victory
Control before aggression
Spirit before technique
Here, karate is not reduced to sport or violence.
Combat is a method — not the goal.
At Fudokai Dojo, we do not create aggressive fighters.
We cultivate strong, balanced, and conscious individuals — capable of protecting themselves, leading others, and remaining calm under pressure.
Training at Fudokai is a process of inner and outer refinement:
Authentic traditional karate
Full-Contact Karate with control and responsibility
Realistic self-defense
Emotional discipline and mental resilience
Development of leadership, dignity, and character
Fudokai Dojo stands as a bridge between Japanese martial tradition and modern life, preserving the spirit of Budo while shaping individuals who are prepared — physically, mentally, and morally — for the real world.
The wind moves forward.
So do we.
Osu!
